Nothing good comes without suffering. No real gain, no real profit, no real knowledge, no real wisdom, no real benefit comes without suffering. There has never been one sports hero who got there without this companion. There is none, and has been no Christian hero who gained heavenly vision without this experience. You cannot circumvent this either. Cry with me, laugh with me, and suffer with me as we see God's schoolmaster do his work.
