This club is available at Gospel for children in Kindergarten through 6th grade. It is based in every facet on the adult RU program. The adult program was desigend to help adults gain freedom from addictions. In contrast, the Kidz Club program was designed to help children remain free from addictions by helping them build a strong, Scriptural foundation for their lives.

Where the adult format is "talk, talk, talk," the children's format is "listen, listen, listen." God listens to them through prayer and praise time, they listen to each other during challenge time, and they listen to God during the Bible story time.

We begin our night in pledges and prayer. This helps to teach young children how to develop their prayer lives. We follow our prayer time with attendance and challenge time. Each child progresses through curriculum books where he or she receives awards for reading the Bible, memorizing verses, attending church and club, serving others, and much more.

Most clubbers love our game time. We vary the activities for this time, but they include indoor and outdoor games and activities. We learn to play together in a peaceful manner and treat one another with respect. The older children play a role to help the younger ones, which helps build a sense of responsibility.

One very important segment of our club is the Bible time. We learn Bible stories, and apply them to our RU lessons and principles. This is a less formal Bible study time than the average Sunday school format, and allows children to ask questions about the stories and the Bible. Having children from various backgrounds and age levels, the lessons are geared to feed children at different stages of Spiritual development.

Following our Bible story time, we have a snack and complete a Bible craft to help the children remember what they've learned. Then our clubbers join the adults for the award ceremony. The children receive awards just like their parents (and often the same exact awards their parents receive), which makes the children feel a great sense of accomplishment.

The Kidz Club program is meant to strengthen families and aid in the healing of hurting families. Parents help their children complete challenges, and the leader checks the progress. The children's books correlate with the adult books, so parents and children can work together to help them build their relationship together as they both strengthen their relationship with Christ.
